What happens when we strip away everything we think we know about astrology?

I remember when I was a teenager, pre-internet, reading my way through every astrology book in the library I could get my hands on. A lot of what I encountered at the time, ultimately, was unhelpful, and taught me that there were either “good planets” or “bad planets”, fortune or misfortune.

If you took my Facing Saturn webinar last year, you may have heard my story about how my current love of Saturn is a reaction against the pretty dire explanations I read years ago.

What I came to realize is that astrology is more complex and nuanced. It’s a beautiful symphony where every sign and every planet plays a supportive role. It’s the “Wheel of Life”, a powerful framework that explains how our world is built and how time unfolds — something that the ancients knew

But what I also learned is that there’s astrology, and then there’s us. Meaning, astrology measures a lot of things — our time, our potential — but it doesn’t measure our psychology, heritage, cultural conditioning, gender, and, more importantly, it doesn’t measure our consciousness.

For a while I’ve been asked to teach astrology. I just hadn’t found my format … until now.

I want to teach astrology in a way that’s not just a lecture, but a holistic blend that brings meditation, consciousness, and transformation into the learning process. I want a course that sees astrology as energy and archetype that reveals something within us instead of something solely academic.
